Is there a future for privacy?

This is a thought-provoking question! My family and I just had a lively conversation about this subject last weekend. It certainly seems to be dwindling. One ironic aspect is there is a safety benefit for having security cams everywhere --- perhaps, security cams will thwart some crime to a certain extent --- but at what cost to our privacy.
