Have i a licence to get PISSED?

I'm a 35yr old female out of work. No kids. My partner is a 51yr old Engineer. He has worked all his life for 25 yrs. NEVER out of work til last year. We have been together 8 yrs. We have always had loads of money and still have a nice nest egg but its dwindling. We try to still be generous to friends so atteneded a friend of ours wedding which was 5 hours drive away and warranted 2 nights hotel stay. We stayed in the hotel which was REALLY expenisve. I got a new outfit. My partner had a lovely suit. We bought a very nice gift but didnt give money. We had a gret time. We bouhght a bottle of wine last night. I didnt drink it.Was so tired. Went to bed. Tonight i drank one bottle of sav blanc and 2 large vodka and apple juice. Am i excessive or just the circumstances?
